I am here for Friends

About Me

Military @ Bopmyspace.com }I am a busy mom, regulatory chemist, and fiance to a wonderful man who is in the Army National Guard. Carl is away at the border... so HOT down there. I'm counting the days til he gets to come home. But I am so lucky to have him here on US soil! I have so much respect for all the military wives, parents, children, and other family members who have loved ones in the Middle East. It is a huge sacrifice, not only for our soldiers, but also for the ones they've had to leave at home. Behind every good soldier is a loving family! I was lucky enough to be raised as an Air Force "brat" and loved moving around a lot from base to base while I was growing up. My parents always made sure that wherever we were felt like home. Moving a lot as a child teaches you some great lessons, but you miss out on keeping life-long friends. Our kids, on the other hand, got to stay in one place all their lives (so far...). I have two kids 19 and 17, plus our "chosen" children (you know who you are!), and Carl has two, 13 and 11. We stay busy with them, our full time jobs, our home-based business, teaching judo to children with special needs, gardening, puttering around the house, and studying martial arts. We love to camp, fish, garden, cook, and eat (LOL). We are lucky enough to live in a rural town in middle Tennessee where life's pace is relaxed and peaceful. We can drive to Knoxville or Nashville if we want some excitement, but tend to spend most of our time right here at home. We enjoy the wildlife in our backyard, it's not unusual to see deer, wild turkey, and even fox. We're blessed with good health and loving families, and look forward to growing old(er) together!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

www.ArmyWifeTalkRadio.com Our Life. Our Family. Our Soldier. Internet talk radio for Army wives, by Army wives. On Demand 24/7. Listen today!

I'd like to meet other military families, and people with interests similar to mine. I'd also like to meet parents who are concerned about the safety of the products they use in their homes. I have a passion for teaching people about harmful toxins in the household products they use everyday. We all have a responsibility to offer our families, especially our children, a safer environment and reduce the number of exposures to chemicals that can potentially compromise their immune systems and cause chronic conditions later in life. If you would like to learn more about the hazards associated with everyday consumer products, please visit some of the links below.
