Skydive Carolina! (www.skydivecarolina.com) was opened in July of 1986 at its current location in Chester, SC with the vision of DZO (owner) Danny Smith. With the help of a friend and skydiving legend, Roger Nelson, Danny acquired his first student and tandem rigs as well as a Cessna 182. With the help of many people along the way, Skydive Carolina has progressed to become the only turbine DZ in South Carolina.Our goal at Skydive Carolina is simple - we aim to please! Our desire is to ensure that all who jump with us have a safe and empowering experience.Skydive Carolina has operated out of the Chester County Airport for the past twenty years. The landing area is over 850 acres of open space. Currently Skydive Carolina is flying a Super Twin Otter and hosts a CASA 212 for larger events.
