I'm pretty eclectic, but I can't stand the mind-numbing redundancy of most pop music and rap.
I like any movie that I can't figure out in the first half hour. Lots of twists and sub plots. Also, movies like Little Miss Sunshine, Igby Goes Down, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Weatherman, or even Donnie Darko are growing on me. They give you a chance to look at the ugly realities of life in a humorous and even beautiful way.
Top three faves: The Office, Scrubs, CSI (original only).
Favorite Authors: George R.R. Martin, Edgar Allan Poe, Garrison Keilor, Kate Elliot, Frank McCourt, Robert Jordan. I read almost constantly and just about anything, but a well written fantasy novel is always my first choice.
