Cold Duck

Honky Tonk Soul !!

About Me

Cold Duck owes it's creation to the long friendship between George Chiasson and Ken Ebell, who first met in 1974- when George was Ken's summer camp counselor at a day camp at Fort Meadow MA. Years later the by-now bonded Hudson-Marlborough neighbors shared comeraderie in the Worcester-Boston music scene of the 1980s, when they were members of the DHARMA BUMS and CHILDHOOD, and often barely made it home together from their various excursions. For a time they were also neighbors in Boston, where they would brainstorm while watching their laundry dry or waiting for the bus. Formed in early 2005 as a slow-in-coming but direct result of heart-bypass surgery and divorce, they finally joined together musically- with the excellent guitar-picking addition of George's cousin Ernie, to play almost everything they can remember, in all genres. Cold Duck prides itself on having more gigs than rehearsals!
