Nubian Entertainment was started by Robert Beck in 1988. Our first experience in the business was working with Russell Simmons with Rush Management doing production. Since 1988 we have had 5 studios in Atlantic City managing local talent. One of our first artists was MC Clever from the group Digital UnderGround. Which we formed a group called The Chosen Ones. We signed our first artist The Mad General which we sold 50,000 units in 1993. We started working with Master P who helped promote The Mad General in the dirty south. And we helped promote his artist Silk The Shocker in the northern region. As of right now we have our up and coming artist Niro. Who was signed to EMI Records and is now searching for a new deal. And we also managed up and coming song bird Tahnee. And we also manage reggae sensation Jimmy Shandy.
