I'm Allison Herrington and I've been a professional makeup artist for 25 years. I am also a licensed Esthetician in the states of Maine and NH. I work out of ESSE Studio, 4 Marketplace Drive, York, ME 03909. I provide on-location make-up/styling services for tv, commercial print, fashion shows, hair shows, bridal shows, special occasion, head shots and WEDDINGS! Rachel Chastney is THE creative hair genius part of the team and together we have been creating happy clients throughout New England for 4 years.
I launched my own line of makeup in 2007 "A Line Cosmetics" which can be found only at ESSE. I have incorporated my years of product knowledge and what I believe is the "best of the best" into one product line. Beauty made simple - the way it should be!I also specialize in Eyelash Extensions. I utilize the best product on the market of which I have exclusive rights to in the northeast. I use premium quality synthetic lashes, medical grade adhesive and years of expertise to create long, luscious lashes! They are a must for all of my brides as they completely eliminate the need for mascara.
My years in the beauty biz have led me down another path that I am very passionate about. Corrective and Reconstructive makeup of which I hold a Masters Certificate. I teach burn victims, people with skin disorders and those undergoing chemotherapy how to take care of their skin and teach makeup techniques to boost self esteem. I am a certified instructor with the American Cancer Society's "Look Good Feel Better" program and instruct monthly classes in two locations in York, ME.
