I am originally from Sydney and have moved to New York to live out a creative dream. Which is to write. Anything really. The Novel. The Play. The Short Story. I've been here for a year, and everybody knows that the first year in NYC can be tough, and it has been. But I've had a lot of fun along the way. The other day I met Laurie Anderson. Today I walked past Kevin Kline...that sort of thing. And you just don't get bagels in Sydney like you do here. These are my priorities, having turned 40.
