Although Aventura had about 7 years under their belt trying to come up in the music biz , it was not until they joined up with 2 Strong that they became what seemed to be an overnight success to those that did not know better. 2 Strong developed, marketed & Managed AVENTURA, as well as building there bookings from scratch Taking them to an international status, and making them the Hottest Bachata group to date. Geoffrey Royce Rojas, also known as Royce, was conceived on May 11, 1989 in Bronx, New York. Although born American, he still cherishes his Dominican roots, as he was born from two Dominican parents. His love for music started early in his life. At the young age of nine, still in elementary school, Royce joined the schools choir. At the age of thirteen, as he slowly discovered his talent for music, began developing his singing by entering school talent shows and taking a few vocal lessons. It wasn't until he turned sixteen that he began to pursue his dream as a singer and decided to use his middle name, "Royce", as his stage name.Although very different from any ordinary teenager, he doesn't come far from sharing some qualities. Royce enjoys spending time with friends, watching baseball, and playing video games. Unlike many teenagers, he loves writing poetry and music lyrics as part of his hobby.Royce has a distinctive love for R&B, Bachata, and Pop music; keeping artists like Usher, Aventura, and Michael Jackson as an inspiration to his music. This unique mix of artistic styles, has brought forth Royce's own creative style of music.Still, as a young teen, only nineteen years of age, Royce manages to keep up with his studies in college. He continues to pursue his dream of one day taking his music to an international level.Royce is currently working on his first Album with 2 Strong Music, a division of 2 Strong Ent., the same company that launched and managed the careers and successes of internationally known groups: Aventura, Xtreme and most recently "Unique" (Machete/Universal Music Latino).
