About Me

]Nyte Flyte is a 5 man classic rock band that hails fom Western Ky./Southern Illnois area. Formed in 1976 the band regrouped with the original band members Eddie Summers(Drums) DJ Haynes(Guitar) and Rich Ransom(Bass)in 2000. Eddie and DJ remain the only two original members. The band now includes Danny "Mac" Mcdonald(Vocals) Cliff Cossey(Guitar) and Gary Collins(Bass) The band tours mainly thoughtout Illnois, Missouri, Keenucky, Tennessee areas. If you grew up in the 70's wished you did, or like the 70's style classic/rock sound... Come check out a Nyte Flyte Show when they come to a town near you!!!!!

We want him to know he will be missed and that we wish him the best of luck...On a happier note, Nyte Flyte welcomes the return of Richard Ransom, another founding member of the group as he returns to play bass. Gary Collins, current Nyte Flyte bassist will move to guitar starting June 6th. All you Nyte Flyte Fans please come and welcome Rich back. ASAP
Influences: Our influences are any of the southern rock groups of the 70's. If you notice the spelling of our name, I think you'll see we copied Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as we could. We are still listening to and trying to copy the best of whats out there still. We've found you never stop learning in this business.
Sounds Like: Although we are mainly a cover band, one of the highest compliments we have had paid to us is by our fans when they tell us we have a sound all our own. So, I guess no matter how hard we try, we always have and always will sound like Nyte Flyte.
