About Me

Like most people I am just trying to make it. Going after a dream that I may never see come true. Yet each day that God allows me to awake I pursue it! Grab each moment by the horns and push and pull and try with all might. I am focused, I am strong, I am a man. I have faults, follies and flaws. I am not perfect, I am not trying to be--yet I strive to be a better person everyday. I want everything I do to be a reflection of God's grace on my life so that when I die He will see that I have done His will and hoepfully He will say "well done." That's what I want. NO!!!! I AM NOT PERFECT but God has given me a gift and I shall use it. I shall take this world by storm. What do you do with tears after they have released themselves from you eyes? A question that has gone unanswered for years and possibly unpondered for just as long.I am finding that tears of pain are often bottled up and stored for a later date. Meaning that people hold on to what has hurt them and carry it over to the next situation, next job, next person, next lover, and more importantly to the next day. For some odd reason we as people have the tendency to keep the bad as a precious memory as opposed to the good.I am finding that tears of joy are often wiped away with a kleenex immediately after they have been shed then once they are obsorbed in the kleenex it is discarded in the trash. Meaning that people are willing to let the good times fall behind them and dwell on the tears of pain as hurt is always greater than happiness. Well me? I have been down that road and have shed many tears in the past.I have a giant bottle of tears in my closet but as I embark on this journey call life I am finding myself attempting to allow the tears to simply fall as they come. I understand there will always be more tears that I can either wipe way or bottle up. I get to decide! But this time I am going to just let the tears fall. The tears of pain won't be bottled up and the tears of Joy won't be wiped away and forgotten as it is thrown in the trash.I shall live.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I don't give people that much clout, however, there are people who have the ability to inspire, the ability to change the way a man or woman feels about his or herself. There are people who can change this world with the words of their mouths. People who have compassion for other people, people who aren't afraid to stand against the powers that be. There are people out there who aren't afraid to tell you when you're wrong and know how to do it with grace. There are people out there who understand the imperfections of the broken, who desire to rebuild the lives of the weak. Those people!!! Those people who understand that there is something more to life than sex, drugs and cash. Those people who see what I see and agree to disagree...THAT'S WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET!!..MY FAM!!!
