ARTISTIC Production is a very experienced and active Recording Company out of Kingston, Jamaica. It is owned and operated by the notable songwriters/producers brothers Carlton "Tetrack" HINES and Delroy "Jimi" HINES. It's involvement in the music industry span in excess of fifteen(15) years. During that period we had the privilege of working with a number of top artistes. Albums with Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, The Tamlins,and Fredlocks are true testimony to that fact. Carlton has been highly rated for penning top class songs such as "RUMOURS" by Gregory Isaacs; "LET OF SUP'N" by Gregory & Dennis Brown; "PRIVATE BEACH PARTY" by GREGORY ISAACS; "DECEIVING GIRL" by Dennis Brown; "READY WE READY" by Gregory & Dennis Brown; "NAH LEF DI DANCE" by Gregory Isaacs and "MAMA'S LOVE" by Dennis & Beres Hammond to mention a few. His prolific writing skill is also exhibited on major projects such as "PRIVATE BEACH PARTY" by Gregory Isaacs;"REAL ENEMY" by the Mighty Diamond; "JUDGE NOT" by Dennis Brown & Gregory Isaacs which were produced by Agustus Clarke; and "LIMITED EDITION" by DENNIS BROWN, "UNLOCKED" by GREGORY ISAACS, "NO SURRENDER" by the TAMLINS. which were all produced my Jimi and himself for their ARTISTIC LABEL. "LET'S GET STATED" by Tetrack, produced my the late Agustus Pablo and "TROUBLE" by Tetrack produced by Agustus "Gussie" Clarke are two(2) other single handedly penned project by Carlton. On the other hand Jimi who focus primarIly on the Mgnt & Production aspect of the company, has successfully managed and toured extensively with "LOUIE CULTURE", "FREDLOCKS", "RICKY GENERAL" and "TETRACK". In the absents of Carlton's input he found the time to pen three(3) tracks namely "Don't Judge Me"; "Friends Like These" and "See Me But Don't Know Me" for their FREDLOCKS project entitled "KEEP ON TRYING". ARTISTIC Production has worked with some of Reggae's biggest label such as VP Records; RAS Records; POW WOW Records; SIGNET Records; GREEN SLEEVE Records and JET STAR Records. In addition, the company has produced top quality works with artistes the likes of Capleton, Mad Cobra, Louie Culture, Determine, Lutan Fyah,Merciles, Preditor,Cutty Ranks,Ricky General,Delly Ranx, Powerman,Mega Banton, to name a few. Because singing has been a strong all mark of the company, they have worked with the best in that aspect of the business namely George Nooks,Junior Delgado, John Holt, Luciano, Anthony Cruz, Chrisinti, Pinchers, & Lymie Murray,Paul Elliott and Elijah Prophet to mention a few. The company is presently very busy in the studio working with their newly signed artiste MESHA, in addition to works now being done on a George Nooks project.
