ABOUT GEOFF: Often called the one man british invasion, Geoff was originally from Liverpool, England and currently resides in Huntington Beach, California. He moved to California to find competition.
He is a street skater with regular stance, who's signiature move is the Rowley Darkslide.
He worked with Tony Hawk on the popular game series. He was one of the playable skaters from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 to Tony Hawk's Underground. All the skaters had a joke special move in Tony Hawk's Underground. Geoff's was a very amusing one called Ferret Wrestler, where he grinds a rail while fighting off rabid ferrets that are clinging to his face!
Some of his most defying tricks have been on the covers of Thrasher magazine and he was the skater of the year in 2000.

=Quote on Motivation: "Depends what month it is. It's like a fucking spur whatever it might be. I feed off some people, friends growing up, not necessarily people who skate. People like that motivate me because they take my mind of it and let me know that its not that serious. Sometimes music as well. Sometimes certain music will just all of a sudden click me out of my mode and make me want to go out and skate a lot."
**SOME Q AND A**
Q: When did your fascination with the wild beasts begin?
A: At birth, my son!
Q: When did you start stalking them?
A: At the grand old age of about sixteen.
Q: Do you ever actually hunt them, with the intentions of killing them?
A: It's the stalk I'm most stoked on, and to be in the realm of such pure beastage. Shooting is not the intent of a hunt for me, or most people I hunt with. It's just a part of the act. I have a friend who has been hunting mountain lions for forty years (and is considered the best in his game) and has only killed two. This is a man who could have killed thousands of the beasts, and to only take the pinnacle of the species during his time is awesome. This explains a little more about hunting than most people would perceive, or like to believe, and this is true of a lot of people I know. Hunters are the biggest single group of conservationists alive in the United States today. Without them we wouldn't have half the open spaces we have left, America wouldn't be America without them, we owe them more than they are given credit.
Q: How long do you generally stay out on a “hunt†(stalking may be a better word)?.
A: A week to nine days, and hunting is what it is.
Q: You are highly interested in mountain lions, what draws your attention to them in particular?
A: The only 100% true carnivore, no vegetation consumed, nothing! Think about it…
Q: Who are your favorite skateboarders of the past and present?
A: D.Way, A. Saari, E Templeton, M. Appleyard.....and your mum.
Q: What are your thoughts on desire and will power?
A: A man must have desire as well as willpower to be considered a man.
Q: What about in respect to coordination?
A: Coordination is unnecessary.
Q: Who do you think will be this year’s soty?
A: Should be D. Way again, he deserves the soty double.
Q: 3 books:
A: 'TRACKING THE BIG CATS' CARL HERT, 'ROPING LIONS IN THE GRAND CANYON' ZANE GREY, 'SOUL AMONG LIONS' HARLEY SHAW
Q: 5 records (in no particular order):
A: 'RUBBER SOUL' THE BEATLES, 'NECROPHONES' LUNGFISH, 'HAMMERED' MOTORHEAD, 'SOULS AT ZERO' NEUROSIS, 'DAYS OF SPEED' PAUL WELLER
Q: 3 artists:
A: PAUL WELLER(SOUL), LEMMY KILMISTER(LYRICS), THE CORAL(YOUTH ENERGY)
Q: 5 best styles in skateboarding:
A: s.a.a.
Q: 1 good Remy story?:
A: Remy Stratton is a loose module at all times.
Q: How about Phelps?:
A: Phelps palmed my friend Ewan in the face last week at Mike Burnett's wedding, that was humorous...for me at least.
Q: Where to next?
A: To the woods my friend!!!
Q: A thorn in your side?
A: Is better than one down the urethra.
Q: Thoughts on education?
A: One can educate oneself in many ways, though it is best to read the book from start to finish in order to have a valid opinion, in other words without education, be it private or public, a person may struggle to complete the task at hand. I'm for it, as long as religion is kept out. At least for my children... if I had any, which I don't.
Q: Daily ritual?
A: Live life with a heart of good intent, and drive my carcass like a wild mustelid.
Q: Last trick in Chichagof?
A: Frontside flip to tail revert.
Q: Why skateboarding? How and when did you start?
A: I was always a bit of a bastardchild, so when some metal punker mates started rolling on skateboards I thought, 'what a constructive way to cause some damage and get away with it'. Skateboarding was like nothing else, I couldn't stop.
Q: Who are your influences, then (when you started) and now?
A: Lemmy Kilmister's lyrics and use of the English language are a wonderful thing to behold, the wild beasts continue to entertain me, the smell of damp sage at 5am.
Q: What was the first trick you ever landed?
A: Boneless off a sandstone wall.
Q: What is your favorite trick currently?
A: Coffee shop blast with Arto, or cruising with 'the lords scooter club' on PCH.
Q: You have traveled to many places through skateboarding, which place has been your favorite, and why?
A: I love going back to Liverpool to skate, reminds me of the innocent days. The Southwest is the most beautiful country I've ever seen.
Q: If you could only skate one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Concrete.... I do believe!
Q: What is coming up next for you (videos, trips, interviews, etc.)?
A: A Thrasher interview, whilst pleasing my merry self with trips to the woods and desert with some fine skateboard gentlemen.
Q: Anything else you would like to add?
A: I'd like preservationists with tons of money (i.e. conservation groups, animal activists, etc.) to get behind, back, and join with the real people that are preserving the open spaces, and wild beasts in this country, the people that give more money to this cause than all conservation groups and animal activists combined..........the hunters.
