The Knaves

About Me

As of mid 2008, the Knaves have disbanded. The members have all moved on to other projects. Find the new material and new incarnations at:

The Knaves' final recorded material should be available on this site shortly.

Taking their name from the 17th century John Wilmot poem, 'A Satyr Against Mankind', The Knaves played their first live show in January of 2007. The following month they recorded an eight-song demo, which was made available for free on their website.

The demo also spent four months on London's campus radio charts, and more recently began receiving airplay nationally, on CBC Radio 3.

The Knaves embarked on their first tour this past summer, and played the 2007 LOLA Festival in London (Sept. 20-23), which also included many national and international artists.
