Reflections are Nick and Paula Belcher. Nick has worked with people all his life. He has experience of working amongst a wide range of folk, including those with mental health problems and those with Learning Disabilities. Work has included co-ordinating activities, developing rehabilitation programmes and leading groups. Paula has experience of working with the elderly and for voluntary organisations. She has a Diploma in Counselling.We are aware of the pressures that many homes are under, maintaining personal care for the people we look after but too often struggling to find meaningful and stimulating activities. We hope that, by spending time in your home, your residents will not only be entertained but also encouraged to engage with us, with you and with one another.We can tailor our activities to the needs and preferences of your residents and will bring the equipment needed. All we need is some space!ENTERTAINMENT: Sing-along... Live music... Nostalgia... Memory joggersGAMES: Quizzes... Floor games... Giant cards... dominoes... bingo... Connect 4... All materials, resources and even small prizes are included.Costs: 1 hour = £20 2 hours = £30Usually one type of session will last an hour. Why not choose two different types of session to include, for example, entertainment as well as an activity?However, we want to be as flexible as your needs, and are able to adapt to your wishes. We are very happy to come out before any plans are made so that we can meet each other and talk about your home.
