We do not see things as they are...We see things as we are

About Me

"Suffering also has its worth.
Through sorrow, pride is driven out
And pity felt for those who wander in samsara;
Evil is avoided, goodness seems delightful"
~Shantideva
I am a student of photojournalism and a model of almost 7 years. This summer I would really like to do more modeling, since my body and face have changed somewhat and I just miss being in front of the camera. I am approaching graduation and am starting to have more free time now. I work at the library at the University and so far the job has been really great. I love being around books and learning new things all the time.
I am interested in learning how to build "cob" housing, thanks to some friends of mine who visited recently. I am also contemplating learning more survival skills, like hunting. I want to know that I can fend for myself if it comes to that! I am blessed to live on a beautiful mountain with clean snow and water and beautiful trees everywhere. This place is my homeland, and makes me feel connected to the earth and LIFE...I want to be able to walk out into the world and just keep walking. I want to run like in my dreams, until all the fear drops away and the expansiveness of the world just unfolds at my feet...

My Interests

Survival, native subsistence practices, the environment, global warming, the Ron Paul Revolution!

My puppy Rambo keeps me smiling, my boyfriend Hugh keeps me guessing, and the beauty of the world keeps me hoping.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to see my brother Josh again. He died in a car crash near Mt. Shasta on February 15, 2007.

My brother

I Miss Him

Can you feel the love? I can...

I Will Follow You Some Day...

"We learn in the retreating
How vast an one
Was recently among us.
A perished sun
Endears in the departure
How doubly more
Than all the golden presence
It was before!"

~ Emily Dickinson
