I love playing cards and other board games, going bowling, going to movies, exploring new parts of the city, taking pictures, tv is always somewhat amusing, going to the zoo, and other fun things that I just can't think of right now
I'd like to meet some cool new friends that don't drink, don't smoke, don't like to close their eyes and still see things. It would be cool to find some people that are nerdy, who like to play card & board games, and who care what happens in their life on a professional level. I'd like to meet some people that know how to have fun and be dorky without having an out of body experience. If I can do it there must be some people out there that can as well.I'd also like to meet a boy that gives me that tingly feeling that they talk about in movies. I have started to think that my idea of having a boy out there that will make me smile just at the thought of him is just a stupid idea encouraged by movies. For now though, I haven't given up on that boy. I am not a skinny girl, which I have learned to appreciate and I no longer think of myself as lower than someone else just because I weigh over 200lbs. and I'd like him to be confortable with himself as well, whether he is overweight or not. I'd like to find someone tall, around the 6'2 range. i have never dated anyone that is that much taller than me since I stand roughly 6' myself. I know that to some extent looks are important, if one's nose is on their forehead of course the vast majority of people out there are not going to find that very attractive, but looks aren't everything. I do like faces though and smiles especially. I feel like I am always smiling because I like to see others smile. My fave artists include Dido, Nickelback and lifehouse (those i can listen to forever), john mayer, jem, dixie chick's new song, coldplay, just jack, etc. I tend to like slower sounding rock such as Star 101.3 and Alice 97.3 but i also like r&b so i can dance foolishly to it. The new movin 99.7 is fun! oh and Remy Shand- Rocksteady and Take a Message. both of those are 2 cool songs. I like a lot of different types of music except when they sounds like they are screaming. My ears don't care for that much.
There are so many to chose from!! I love crime dramas, comedies, some suspense, and chick flicks are always nice - hey i am a girl (but i never force those upon people because i wouldnt want them to force me to see a scary movie- i am not a fan of scary movies). The Departed is great! Because I Said So was pretty good too for a chick flick. It was funny. Wedding Crashers and Talledaga Nights are really great too. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is another one. See too many to choose from.
I love The Golden Girls!!!! I know its about old ladies but it is fabulously written. So FUNNY. And that show on Spike TV, what's it called like MXC or something. The one of the Japanese show that is dubbed over. Its hillarious! I have started to watch 24 on dvd and that is really intense. Law and order (all of them) is one that i watch regularly because its been on so long. I don't tend to keep up much with the hot new shows that come out. Animal planet and discovery are always nice to watch too.
