there are many people i consider heroes in my life... MY PARENTS absolutely.. they helped me survive the crappiness that is finding out who you really are and they guided me to make the right choices in life for myself... MY GRANDMOTHER is another AWESOME hero to me... she has battled a few types of cancers over the years... lost her husband at an early age and continued to raise young children and work and do an incredible job there too... MY BROTHER for his constant drive and never settling for less than the best and for being my biggest supporter.... MY GREAT FRIEND LAURA... although she lost her battle, she was a fighter, and taught me the real meaning of friendship, and how to live my life the best way i possibly can - i love her more than words can ever express - rest in peace my beautiful butterfly and A WONDERFUL MAN-- SGT CHRIS MISSICK -- he is the true definition of a soldier... he reminds me everyday of how lucky we are to live in the country we do, and how fortunate we are to have all of the little things that so many others don't... read his blog at www.missick.com
