I am here for Friends

About Me

What about me do I want to say? Plenty! 'cause I love talking and rambling and telling a tale (or grabbing one). Oh I can just go on and on about my life; friends, Kismet, de rigueurs, good restaurants and dates, vacations antics, the reality of my delusions in grandeur, and mais bien sur, men. I arrived in PDX on Friday, October 13th, 2006. You'd think that would be an ominous day, but I believe it was auspicious. That's because I am an optimist at heart and everything has been great here. We'll see how much more I can make happen.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to have some good banana cream pie with Maya Angelou or some rye whiskey with JD Salinger. He's gotta be one jacked-up crackpot by now. Yo? Eric Himan Music Video

Edna, what a Dame ...

Like the wicked voice of Dion, Edna St Vincent Millay has been creeping into my mind's back alley lately --- and her voice reminds me why I've spent years reading as much lyrical poetry and sonne...

Two doors down from the white picket fence ...

So it appears gay marriage really is only two doors down for us fags ... the ignorant laws passed not only by legislatures, but voters, too, are commencing upheavals ... and the rainbow is ending...

Ha! Now you can see me!

I'm considering setting this to private, or changing my preference list so only you can read this, but I don't feel it's necessary because you know it's for you and I have no doubt you will read it.&n...

Tarot tarot on the table, is this truth or is this fable?

Saturday August 18th, Portland celebrated one of its eclectic hipster streets with a "street fair" called Hawthorne Days.  Most of the businesses had sidewalk sales enticing patrons into their st...

Free PDX Breakfast. Oh hell yeah.

I am not much of a breakfast eater.  Mainly because I do not like to rush in the morning and would rather take the time to primp or polish my shoes than sit down and eat breakfast.  However,...

Deliberate conscious faithful moments

leaving 10 minutes early, catching the first train, elevator rumble with Kismet, a fresh shave, Molson Ice after a hot shower, a fitted Banana Republic tee with New York, Kent's camo shorts, Amy's inv...

Naked with sunglasses

It's been exactly three years since my first visit to Portland, OR.  I arrived on 4th of July, 2004 --- the day after my best friend's wedding shower that I had delayed the trip for. It...

Anticipated birth

I can't even get comfortable at this freakin' table.  I have taken off all my jewlery, re-situated the chair and my legs three times, and I am barely there ... I know it is ridiculous.  This...

To the performers of the Dolly Parton Hoot Night

You really sucked ass.  I mean, you sucked ass bad enough that you actually made me mad.  You definitely ruined my first experienced at the Mission, and you pretty much spoiled the rest...
