Andersson & Gibson was formed in the beginning of 2006. We met in Gothenborg where we both where born and raised. We where at the yearly book fair to sign the newly released album "I say NO drugs" with swedish artsist that dedicated a song to this campaign. We decided to write some songs and we did. We realized soon that our voices where perfect for eachother and decided to write and record an album together for fun.
We signed a record deal with major label EMI in october 2006 and recorded the album "Earthly greetings" during december. It was a wonderful experience to record the album like they did in the good old days, live! Bohus studio is a dream to record in and the album turned out like we wanted it to. An acoustic feel where the vocals and the song is in focus.
We are fans of Simon & Garfunkel, The band, Fleetwood Mac, Mamas and the papas and of course The Beatles and it is very obvious that we've been inspired by these in wrioting and recording the album that was produced by Andersson & Gibson.
