Adam Hawley, currently a resident of Los Angeles, started his music career in the Portland Metro Area of Oregon before moving to Southern California in 2002. He has appeared in a myriad of settings with such artists as The Manhattan Transfer, Ricky Lawson, War, members of the world famous Escovedo family of percussionists, Gospel singer Onitsha, Rap artist Styles P, and toured with Spirit Productions "Solid Gold Motown" show throughout the world.He holds a Master's Degree in Studio/Jazz Guitar from the University of Southern California and is currently working on his Doctorate at USC and teaching several classes there. At USC he studied with such greats as Bruce Foreman, Anthony Wilson, Richard Smith, Pat Kelley, Carl Verheyen, Steve Trovato, David Oakes, Adam Del Monte, and Frank Potenza.He is also music director at New Beginning Christian Fellowship Church in Azusa, CA. In addition to work as a sideman and session player, he is currently working on his debut album as an artist.
