It's been brought to my attention that I haven't updated my profile in a while and according to my original interrests I was still "knocked up". Well, not any more. After many months of worrying about a premature baby the stork finally brought our little bundle of joy exactly one week early....June 15th, 9:44 pm. To my relief she was a perfectly healthy 6lb 15oz baby....started screaming before she was all the way out. Epidurals are amazing, I didn't feel a thing with the exception of the three blown veins I recieved while the nurses tried to get my IV going. All totally worth it though. It's funny how prepared you can be for something you never thought you'd experience. My husband has been so great through everything from the steak and ceasar salad cravings during pregnancy to the diaper explosions and late nights since Sadie arrived. Never once has he complained and he looks at our daughter like the whole world is in her tiny blue eyes. So will we have more? Maybe.....I have to forget about the last ungodly month of pregnancy and the unfair amount of sleep I currently get. We'll see.
Raise your hand if you're tired of hearing me talk about Modest Mouse. That's an amazing band. Perfect Circle, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tears For Fears, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Sam Roberts, Dandy Warhols, Incubus, Tool, ......the list goes on.
I like everything from Evil Dead to The Usual Suspects and most in between but my favorites are movies that have a lot of style and creativity. Kill Bill, Big Fish and Frailty rank right up there.
