Artless

2008 was supposed to be the year for Artless. We were going to record our debut album, and we were going to play a lot of concerts. However, we bumped into some trouble on the road. During the recording sessions, Atle sadly decided to leave the band. Fortunately enough we had recorded the drums for four songs, so we decided to continue the process and make an EP. We also lost our casa nostra in the famous fire in Bergen this autumn, and the search for a new drummer took ages. Eventually, after we’d been contacted by a medium/healer who wanted to play the drums with us, we found Thomas Mann. A toy store employee who also hammers the drums in the punk-rock outfit 50Shots. Another setback is that our beloved Captain Emo has moved to Madrid to pursue love. Since the Captain, who’s more emo than ever before for the time being, is irreplaceable, the four of us have decided to be a quartet while he’s away.As you’d probably understand, the recording process has taken time, but our fantastic producer Jostein Steinsland-Hauge is finishing the work these days. If everything goes as planned, we’ll release our debut-EP this spring. And we’re going to play a lot of concerts! So go see a show! More news will follow.
