In 2003, in Zagreb, Croatia, a group of friends started playing together in various rehearsal spaces. It was a very experimental and relaxed vibe with no intention initially of forming a band.
After two years of playing just for fun, with different people, Denis and Ivan found out that they share the same music sensibility, and got the idea to form a regular band. After a period of seeking soulmates, finally Ivana and Brane joined the band with their creative energy and this should be considered as the true start of Mutual Of Omaha.
It took some time before our first concert. Maybe too much time. Since then, we played a couple of gigs in Croatia and Slovenia.
We all share similar interest for playing powerful, instrumental music and we enjoy playing what we currently play and don’t know what direction we'll take in the future. As long as we are happy with it, we will continue to make music and perform. Tomorrow is already here.
