Buttafly Jonez was raised in Port Hueneme, Ca and currently resides in Los Angeles, Ca. The Love for art, and psychology moves her to write poetry. Buttafly Jonez has been writing poetry for about fifteen years, and doing spoken word poetry for five years. Buttafly Jonez has recently fulfilled a goal of creating her own self-published book called “Zonez: The Life and Times of Buttafly Jonez”, “Ever seen a Buttafly with Nubian Locks?” 1st CD called “Systematic Metamorphosis”, second CD called “Flyin’ Towards the Sun” and the newest book called “Peace and Buttaflies”. Buttafly Jonez recently graduated from California State Northridge, University with a Master's in social Work in May 2007 . Buttafly Jonez owns and operates Buttafly Jonez Publishing Company in which she produces affordable poetry books and mass production of CDs Buttafly's next goal is to own a boutique shop dedicated to the works of up coming artist of all genres. Buttafly Jonez also owns and operates a web site called www.buttaflyjonez.com that features her work, and the work of her published artist.Systematic Metamorphisis is Buttafly Jonez' first CD produced by some local cats named Polidony comin up in the game.
