About Me
I am married and a mother of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. I cherish my family and love them all unconditionally. I grew up in a small town in northwest Iowa not far from Okoboji, a popular lake resort community. After graduating college, I moved to Colorado. A few years later, I met the love of my life. We were married in November of 1988 and will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on November 5, 2008. In April 2004, we moved to Florida for a job opportunity, only to be greeted a few months later by Hurricanes Charlie, Rita, Wilma and Jeanne, all within a 6 week period. That was enough for us!!! The next year we sold our house and moved to Arizona. We have family living here, the mountains are only a few miles away, snow skiing less than 2 hours away, the ocean 3 hours away, swimming pool and palm trees in our backyard, flowers blooming year round and a view of the lake from our front door step.I love to travel! I have been to the West Indies, including Martinique, Antigua, Barbados, San Juan, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, Hawaiian Islands, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Matzalan, Canada, and all over the United States from the East Coast to the West Coast. Still on my list of destinations is New York City during the Christmas Season where I will take a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park, visit Vermont in the fall, stay on Martha's Vineyard, visit Napa Valley, and travel to Italy and Europe.I have overcome many obstacles in my lifetime, including major health issues and grieving over the death of close family members, all of which have made my spirit stronger. Both of my birth parents died several years ago, and my step-sister died suddenly the end of this August and my step-father lost his battle with cancer just a couple weeks ago.I have been an entrepeneur for many years which included being a licensed realtor, licensed interior decorator, muralist, decorative painter, and advertising executive. Given the recent deaths and life changing events I was going through, I was longing for a way to improve myself, both personally and professionally. To make a long story short, as they say, an amazing opportunity dropped into my lap.I was given the marketing rights to a billion dollar company based in Mesa, Arizona, iLearningGlobal.TV, and I have been named a member of the exclusive "iLG Founder's Club". I have partnered with some of the best teachers, speakers, trainers, mentors and advisors in the world! It is literally changing my life! The company is still in its pre-launch stage, and will officially launch to the public early Spring 2009.
