Nearest The Positive was founded in mid January of 2007.In a very short amount of time we collected all of our members and played our first show in just 2 weeks.From there we have continued to mature as musicians and as Christians.We do not take credit for our tallents,we give all the glory to God. When we started writing music we decided to be a different band than your normal screamo/hardcore band.Our music is full of gut wrenching breakdowns and mind blowing guitar riffs.But we aren't afraid to have softer songs with the most melodic vocals and technical guitar parts.So tell us what you think about our music good or bad.
We have tryed to keep a humble mood in everything that we do.We would be nothing without the help and guidence of God.As i said before we are a christian band.We will talk to you about it.We will not however shove our thoughts,opinions and beliefs down your throat, but WE do everything to glorify God, not ourselves. if you have any questions dealing with booking for Nearest The Positive you can just send us a message on our myspace or [email protected] . We charge a minimum of 50 dollars for birthday parties or private parties of sorts. For Churches we ask that we have 20 dollars in gas money.
