Power Through Will, along with Noir Magnetik, is a solo project from Aries of As All Die. PTW continues to explore the occult themes found in As All Die's music, against a backdrop of ritualistic industrial soundscapes. Tribal percussion and textural vocals are used to fuse the organic with cold electronics.Aries has been making electronic-based music for 15 years, including writing and production for other artists. Beginning in 2000, he recorded two limited CD-Rs under the project name Burn Unit. In March of 2004, he was recruited by Clint Listing to join As All Die, whose sound encompasses martial industrial, dark ambient, neofolk and occasionally noise. After a string of critically acclaimed releases and live shows, As All Die is currently on hiatus. In 2005, Aries collaborated with Rhode Island musician Ron Schmitt to create a score for the modern dance company Fusionworks. More art-related projects are currently being planned.
