About Me

I am quiet, yet able to carry myself into a crowded arena and speak thousands upon thousands of words, with a quirky sense of humour,if I was made to do so. In other words, I'm shy, but I'm not easily intimidated and will speak my mind. I have lived in Chicago, IL for 22 years as a special education teacher. I work with the deaf and the blind at the preschool age. I am constantly challenged and always reminded by the children, to be thankful for my physical abilities.
I enjoy traveling and making special trips to places like Sudan, Ethiopia, Israel, Thailand and India. My next trip will be to Bali, China, or Africa. Who knows?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet new people who are gifted and talented artists, photographers, and sculptors, writers, teachers, bakers, and bankers. Come one, COME ALL! I want to meet people who are not afraid to say what is on their mind...to be honest and open to hear what others are saying. I am an independent thinker, neither conservative nor liberal, neither republican nor democrate. But I do have a core belief system that keeps me where I am = stable.

But why am I here? why are you here? Hopefully we both will be able to share our answers through this 'myspace' realm.
I like to write and I want to feel free to write whats on my mind. Hopefully, you and others will make comments. I am always open to new opinions and perspectives on life.
We are living in a time where you can go on a computer and talk to people from all around the world. And why not use myspace to do it? So, here I am!
