About Me

Julio Cesar Arriechi, born in Caracas, Venezuela on December 27, 1982, was greatly influenced by music at an early age. Everything from Michael Jackson to great salsa singers such as Ismael Rivera, Hector Lavoe and Cheo Feliciano. In 1993, when he came to Canada he was furthered introduced to American bands and musical styles more importantly Hip Hop, R&B and Dancehall Reggae. On one of his trips back to Venezuela his cousin introduced him to a new sound and genre called Reggaeton. More specifically groups such as Baby Rasta y Gringo, Bebe, Las Guanabanas, Rubio y Joel, Lito y Polaco, Mexicano, Ivy Queen and Cd’s from The Noise. Once back in Canada Julio decided and enrolled in the Music Industry Arts program in London, Ontario and began working for several clubs as a promoter. While at school he met Jabari who was an up and coming producer and the both decide to form Juliari Records, dealing in Hip Hop, Dancehall and R&B. While songs were created and Julio began experimenting with writing, he decided knowing the difficulties of the Music Industry that he needed a more stable career in his life. After seeing artist such as Don Omar, Baby Ranks and Rakim and Ken-y, Julio could no longer withstand being apart from music and decided once again to get involved with music, but this time as an artist himself choosing the name Legacy based on his wish of being able to leave one behind before his time comes.
