TRAUMA (1991 - 1995)

TRAUMA was formed during March of 1991 in Concepción, CHILE. The band was originally composed by actual frontman from chilean metal band UDK Alejandro Espinosa, bassist Alberto Coppelli, Drummer Cristian Navarro and lead guitarrist Carlos Garate.
The band started playing Metallica covers at the same time they were learning to play their instruments, except by Alberto, who was the only one in having some knowledge and experience playing in bands.
First original song was called "No more war" later named "Into Hell", a kind of Metallica's "One" hit. The second was called "Opulence" but never was finished because of first band's break-up.
Reunited during 1993, the band took place in the "Primer festival de rock de la octava región" and won the first place, leaving behind good and well-known bands such as Golgotha (Heavy-Metal) and Santos Dumont.
TRAUMA recorded 2 demo-cassettes "Fear to Die" and "Sick of Illusions" both from 1995.
Later, the band changed to UDK (www.myspace.com/udk1)
The band is currently split-up.
Alejandro is playing in UDK, Alberto became an Architect, Cristian Navarro became a journalist, and Carlos... We don't know...
