Harlem 16

Harlem 16 is the story of a year in the life of three teenage boys growing up in Harlem. Jack, Donte and Emilio all turn sixteen during the course of the film. During this pivotal time in their lives they confront the absence of their fathers who are serving time in jail for drug related crimes. The boys struggle with making life decisions about their futures and what they want to become. Harlem 16 plays out against a backdrop of rough streets, limited financial resources, drugs and the violent world of dog fighting.
