I am here for Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

I like being calm. I love my hometown, San Diego. Trying new things is fun. I'm going to major in Classics because I fell in love with Latin. I love getting absolutely tossed around in the ocean. I love being in the mountains. I love to sleep outside. My goal for this summer is to score a surfboard. My strongest gift, and sometimes curse, is how deeply I love people. I want our generation to really be the one that seeks God. Not any god, but the one true God, Yahweh. I want to live my life in such a way that at the end of it Jesus says to me, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Blame it on my Foolish Heart

What is this swelling in my chest Which streams into my abs, arms, legs? It stills the beating in my breast- Bleeds and burns- my heart begs: for Truth? for Light? Or Love?  Not quite. It's all o...

Home-coming Jitters

My roommate had an 8 o' clock exam this morning.  I woke up with her at 6:30 to talk and get her brain working.  We talked about our respective homes and she told me all about what she's goi...

In the End-- God Chooses.

I am so tired.  I hate the smell of my new sweatshirt.  I want to be alone with the smell of this too-cold night.  But I can't leave this sweatshirt behind because it's too cold now, to...

It’s fallen, yeah.

So, we live in a pretty f'ed up world. It's fallen, yeah. A man dragged his wife out of their house onto the sidewalk.  He shot her.  I knew him.  I sure as hell thought I did. He was n...

Hurmph.

Trust your instincts. I may be wrong about physics equations.  I may be wrong about electronics.  I may be wrong about calendar dates and when my mom's next yard sale is, but my instincts ...

Traveled 2000 Miles to Healing

Meus animus est nihil?

Sometimes it takes nothing.  Nihil, I guess.  "Nothing" would be the object of the verb, "it" is the subject of the sentence and sometimes is the indescribably indescriptive moments when I a...
