Known as G-Squad’s leader and very quickly pushed to the top of French boy bands, D’Geyrald takes control of the band for two years before leaving in december 1997.During a concert of Michael Jones, D’Geyrald meets his new manager who advises him to go solo.He then meets many artists such as Philippe Granvoinet (J-J Goldman’s keyboard player), Michael Jones, Patrick Manouguian, Florent Pagny’s musicians Agnes and Dede and singer Phil Barney. He signs a deal with Sony Music and a new journey begins with his first single "Chaque Jour", reaching 80 000 sales. A second single "J’ai du apprendre", shows a more rock approach, in keeping with the following album "Chaque Saison".In 2002, D’Geyrald comes back as D’Gey with a new album entitled "C mon seul espoir", for which he writes most of the titles in collaboration with Stephane Mondino. After the exciting boy band era, it’s time for maturity and simplicity. An honest and intimate album follows with the single "New kind of love", where D’Geyrald talks about tolerance, acceptance of others and their sexual orientation, religion or colour. After countless shows and appearances throughout France in 2003, D’Gey becomes D'Geyrald and a new version of "New Kind of love" is released in February 2004 with remixes under ‘Airplay Records’, owned by Universal. In 2004, D’Geyrald and Taneo record the personal single and accompanying video clip "Im your man". He is currently recording his next album in London
