Those of you who know me well know that my Elvis Presley-style hair is gone, and once a month my hair gets cut down to 1". I am a strong supporter of all our troops, our police and fire fighters, and all who strive to preserve the safety and benefit of those around me.
My name is Zach, and I am a published author from Southern California. I'm a Mexican American (I do speak Spanish) and I love to wear Hawaiian shirts because those shirts are stylish, vibrant, and energetic, which can well decribe the wild side of my personality. I'm missing my right arm, and if you really want to know you can ask me. After years of emotional struggle I'm finally over it.
I'm a Specialist (E4) in the California State Military Reserve, one of three branches of the California National Guard, and it's an honor to serve my state and country. I'm not nervous about this information I'm giving out, because I hope that others will learn about the SMR and do their part. After being turned down by the Army, Navy, Marines, and Federal National Guard the State Military Reserve had no problems with my limb deficiency and I'm now in uniform. It's really easy to be patriotic with a yellow bumper sticker on your car, but right now enlistees are needed and a disability shouldn't keep me from doing my part.br />
I'm an excellent public speaker and a writer because I plan to pursue a career in politics, eventually running to represent my district in Congress. The reason I have such a passion for politics is because amidst the great society we have with great people, there is a lot of corruption and self interest being put over public interest. Many people I know distrust the government, and so I hope that I can change that within my corner of the world.
For those of you who know me, you know that I have a passion for Oldies Rock 'n' Roll. That music is not only fun for me, but I feel the excellence in it because that music is well written and it just speaks to me.
