Valero robbed again

The Paris NewsPublished April 8, 2008A robbery duo struck Valero Food Fast convenience store in the 2800 block of NE Loop 286 for the third time in a month early today, taking an undetermined amount of cash and striking the clerk over the head with a weapon.It was the third robbery since Feb. 26, and the second in a just over a week at the store.The two bandits, described as young African Americans, perhaps teenagers, and small in size took an undetermined amount of cash just after 2:30 a.m. today."The clerk is going to be okay and is resting at home," store manager Shirley Meredith said.Meredith said it appears to be the same two in all three robberies.She said apparently no one saw them leave the store."They hit the clerk over the head apparently with a rifle," Meredith said.
