About Me

The Biography of Demerick Felder aka D-DoggI was born on August 1, 1983 to Barbara and Mitchell Felder in Fort Worth, TX at John Peter Smith Hospital. I was the only child to my parents for 9 years until my 3 sisters were born a year apart. I was raised on the east side of Fort Worth, which is commonly known as Stop Six, by both of my parents whom have been married for 30 years now. We were never rich, but the love was there. As a child, I had a strong passion for music. I grew up on artists such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sade, Anita Baker, and The Isley Brothers. As I grew older, I became a very big fan of rap music. As a pre-teenager, I idolized Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Three 6 Mafia, and Tupac. The Fall of 1998, I started high school at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Fort Worth. This was also the year I became actively involved in hip hop music by becoming a member of a rap group called The Zone. The Zone originally had four members including myself. We made songs about life's struggles, the streets, and making money in our producer's, Cree, home. We only recorded about 7 songs and due to conflicting personalities, we split as a group. After I graduated high school in 2002, I started working as a floor technician at a local hospital and moved out of my parent's house. Because I was struggling to make ends meet on my own, I decided to start selling drugs. I hustled for about 2 years and the lifestyle was incredible but due to a close call with the police, I decided to turn my life around. In 2004 my best friend, Brandon, decided to create a hip hop group called N.$.P. which stands for Niggas Stackin Paper. The group originally had 4 members: Brandon(Lil' Shine), Danny(D.White), Keeta( Lil'Chill), and myself (D-Dogg). We recorded a mixtape which had about 15 tracks on it titled: My City Got Next. My City Got Next didn't succeed because we were not able to promote it due to limited resources. Due to conflicts with Keeta's schedule, he split from N.$.P. in late 2007.In March of 2008 my son, Camryn Ty, was born. He has changed my perception of life and everything I do is for him. I began working harder to become a better father and also pursuing my rap career by recording more songs, doing more shows, and building a fanbase. My rap career is still evolving and N.$.P. will continue to aspire to become the next great hip hop group our generation has seen...I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
