It will always be Country / Folk music for me, just love it, I started playing guitar and writting my own songs aged of 9 years, played in a few local rockabilly bands, but always really liked the creative side of songwrtting, the bringing together of the music and lyrics is just magic, I Only ever wanted to be a songs writer and producer. I became a singer songwriter because I neded to get my music heard by other artists and muscians, I have had several unsigned artists cover my songs, one of my songs, Until You Let Me In, has been put to video by a top oneman band, paste the link below, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmG750qrzEc
I have also covered a song written by indi record company called Down On The Farm, paste the link , http://www.youtube.com/user/magichelix
Never really tried to get my songs published before, but have had many enqiries from publishers, but never followed them up, its just the last year that I actually put together a full album of my songs, the album is called "Songs About The King" which as been played on UK Country, I write a country / rock/alt style of songs, which ussualy have a strong story line and a good old melody, I always have a really good hook to my songs as did my mentors who gave me my inspriation for writing, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovette, John Denver and the great Rodger Miller and many other country and folk artists.
