"SOON I'MA BECOME SOMETHING YOU COULD ONLY FANTASIZE ABOUT...AND YOU GONE HATE ME IN THE END WHEN I BECOME YOU DREAM" {-LIL DIZ-}Growing up, Lil Diz was hardened by the many difficult experiences he was put through. His neighborhood, notorious for drugs and violence, was a place feared by the general population. To outsiders, it was a jungle, to residents, it was life. Lil Diz got very involved in Rapping to stay off the streets. At 16 years old, Lil Diz lived with his mother after his father left for a different woman. Growing up with no father figure and without a strong guiding hand, Lil Diz turned to violence and crime. After being locked in a juvie cell, Lil Diz began to get serious about his music. Living in the 214, Lil Diz had no contacts, no real means of exposure. Lil Diz teamed up with Oak Cliff rapper Dre in the late 2000s and made his debut on his first song , which also featured Froz ony, Young Tay, and the rest of the Dallas rappers. This song was a saving grace for Lil Diz, as he was really gaining popularity. Releasing this song put him back in the spotlight, as he had a new young tallented rapper at his side. Dallas couldn't get enough. Shortly afterwards, Lil Diz released his 1st CD, "Here I Go (vol.1)", which sold over 10,000 units and featured fellow up and coming Oak Cliff rapper Froz Ony, which was exactly what lil Diz needed to jump start his dream. The song spread to every hood in Dallas had flyers up for it and everybody was playing it.
