Life is an adventure that is still unfolding before me. I am that adventurer; although I may stumble, I continue on. On this adventure called life I hope to find a place I feel at home at, happiness that will keep a smile on my face (I am not always a grouch) and a healthy life. Live long and prosper.
I am an adventurous person I will generally try just about anything. How can you really know if like or don't like something if you don't try it.
I have gone snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico, canoeing in the Boundary Waters here in Minnesota. I have not travelled nearly as much as I have wanted to in my lifetime. If I go by what palm readers have told I can expect to live a very long life.
I enjoy studying history. Especially that of feudal societies. I find that their codes of honor is sorely lacking in todays society. I come from a scandinavian background; Norwegian, Swedish with some German thrown in. So I can be pretty hard headed and determined.
I would have enjoyed living in the in the age of castles and princesses in need of rescue. Although all I ever come across is that I am needed and never wanted. Again back to the warrior code. I am not much of a warrior I don't like to fight but, I can finish what gets started.
My music interests lies in the rebellious sixties, although I do listen to more of the newer stuff. I am finding the dark metal music gets the blood pumping. It depends on my mood (music soothes the savage beast) and the beat of the music.
Words of advice:
Question everything and admit to nothing.
Be wary who you tell how much you like them. They hurt.
Solitary is loneliness
My one weakness 'helping others at the risk of my own needs' for it does hurt.
