About Me

Our first release was a split 12" between SUFI and SUGARBOAT called Back To Bed. It was a Melody Maker single of the week, and sold out in the first week. SUFI was the project by Rudy Tambala after the great AR KANE split up. They recorded one album for Virgin and one for us. SUGARBOAT was Andy Jenks and Corin Dingley who went on to form ALPHA They released a number of albums for Massive Attack's Melankolic label and still release records through their own Don't Touch imprint. We have also released albums by Lightspeed Future Lullabye and Urchin. Some of the latter's music was featured on the BAFTA winning animation Jojo In The Stars (the short was also nominated for an Oscar). We have released electronica of all sorts from downtempo beats to drum & bass and particularly like releasing split singles when we can afford it such as the M*A*R*Y/ LIQUITEX one. The latter has recorded for the Skam label, whilst the former is another pseudonym for RICHARD X. Our most recent releases were by ACID CASUALS (Cian Ciaran & Kev Tame) and CHRIS CARTER (TCR/ RECORD RECORDS). This is the sister label to DELL'ORSO RECORDS.
