Add the new sky scrapers, ultrafashionable dress, lively nightlife, modern technology and you have Croatia : a diverse country with an energized atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world!Additionally, Croatia is a prime place for studying the long-term affects of war on society. In the 1990’s the break up of Yugoslavia devastated the land and the people of Croatia . In some places, both physical structures and the people are still facing the problems of reconstruction and reconciliation, but overall, most of the buildings have been restored and multiethnic cooperation is increasing every day. In 2006, Croatia is a safe place for students to observe and even experiment with these issues.Croatians are welcoming, friendly, and ready for fun. They love showing off their home by taking you to their favorite places to eat, drink and relax.
