Preacher; A Psalmist... A dynamic powerhouse in gospel music with a rich anointing! This young woman's spiritual gifts as a psalmist and preacher will enhance the joy of the Holy Spirit first hand. Through the years she has served as Minister, Sunday school teacher, Youth Advisory, on the music staff and Evangelist at Bethesda Cathedral, affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW) in Decatur, Georgia. LaVoria served on the International Pentecostal Young People's Union (IPYPU), Praise and Worship Team (1992-2004). For years LaVoria ministered on the radio as an announcer, with WYZE 1480 AM with a morning show entitled, "It's Judah Time with LaVoria" LaVoria is no stranger to theater. She has performed in plays such as "King of Glory" (7 years); "It Is Finished"; "He that Overcometh"; And She Shall Be Called Woman" and the list goes on. LaVoria has shared the stage with many recording artist, such as Derrick Brinkley; Timothy Wright; Evelyn Turtin Agee; James Bignon; Dottie Peoples; Monique Walker; Marvin Sapp; Vickie Winans; Byron Cage; Deitrick Haddon; L'Tanya Moore; Charles Westmoreland; and Kendall Hunter just to name a few.LaVoria is the the first place recipient of the 2003 Praise Discovery National Gospel Talent Search and Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards Nominee 2004 for "Best New Female Artist". LaVoria has appeared on Atlanta Alive Channel 57 numberous of times. LaVoria has also been given the opportunity to participate as a judge in the "The Gift", 2005 McDonalds Youth Talent Competition (Metro Atlanta). LaVoria toured with Wanda Trent Phillips & Purpose, December 2006 to Italy. She has already traveled worldwide and plans to continue evangelizing the gospel through song, encouraging people across race, cultures and denominations. LaVoria is preparing for her debut CD to be released entitled "It's Working 4 My Good", SOON topping the charts and blessing many souls.
