They said it began in Africa, but it began in 1981, when i use to to record the sunday top 40 dancing in my bedroom in my incredible hulk pyjarmers. listening to the likes of Adam Ant, Boy George, Cameo, Duran Duran, Fine Young Cannibles and Level 42 just to name a few. Over the next few years and luckily for me the " twin cassette deck " was born and i was able to record, edit and mix my own mix tapes. Not to long after that i developed a love for lightweight hooded tracksuite tops and found a fetish for all things with a flat surface and covered in lino. A B-boy was born and i was loving the likes of Stetsasonic, EPMD, Run DMC, BDP, Ice T and the Public Enemy just to name a few. Then i heard Jolly Roger " Acid Man " Man Parish " Hip Hop Be Bop " and Twin Hype " For Those Who Like To Groove " on a pirate radio station called " green apple " i discovered the rave scene and was soon attending the infamous Tonka parties down on brighton beach as well as all the illegal warehouse parties in london. That was 20 years ago and im still here LOVING IT.BASICALLY ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC BABY !!!!Ive promoted for quite a few club nights and hosted a couple of nights myself. These days you can catch me shaking a leg and nodding my head to deep,house music in the likes of The Pawn Shop, Space, AKA'S, Sosho's and DC10's.For my future events check: .. .. .... ....
