Welcome to the MySpace page of Blue Velvet Vintage Clothing, Etc. . My name is Theresa and I have been a collector of mid-century vintage clothing, textiles and housewares for almost twenty years. Several years ago I gave up my career as a caterer and chef on private luxury yachts to start an online vintage boutique.Much of my original collection for my website was acquired while travelling by sea to various ports along the east coast of the United States, including New York, Boston, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, Palm Beach, Miami, Savannah, and Charleston. I still go on buying trips to these cities a couple of times a year, searching for the best vintage to offer my customers .
Blue Velvet Vintage features stylish vintage and designer clothing of the highest quality, plus accessories, costume jewelry, lingerie, coats, furs and textiles to help you create your own unique look. We specialize in glamorous dresses, especially the pinup, rockabilly, swing and curvy bombshell styles of the 30s, 40s and 50s and the polished Jackie O, mod, hippie, disco and bohemian styles of the 60s and 70s. If you love these looks, then there's something for every taste and budget.
To offer our customers more options, we also sell modern interpretations of classic vintage styles, including dresses from Trashy Diva, Bettie Page Clothing and our own signature line of 50's vintage reproduction dresses in beautiful retro prints.
We're in the process of expanding the collection. So there are mores styles to come!
