Walker Wood

About Me

Walker Wood's music drifts somewhere between folk rock and lush, space rock/pop, and has been described as Neil Young meets Pink Floyd meets Radiohead.Walker began experimenting with electronic sounds late in high school, and during his first few years in college began honing his skills at writing full songs. But it wasn't until 2004's "All Good Things..." that his sound finally came together. With that album, and 2005's "The Distance Between", the first two parts of the "Electric Morning Trilogy" had been completed. Also in 2005 Walker was nominated for the Fort Worth Weekly's Best New Artist, along with the great Fort Worth band Chatterton, who won the title for 2005. He is currently working on the follow up to "The Distance Between", entitled "Ghosts and Lies" and is intended to be a concept album with a new take on its "songs".-Cheers BATTLESTAR OFFICE-ICA
