dash/- aka Diego Barba began his musical career in 2002 in the rock band "Rotten" (Mexico City) playing the guitar, where he met his future partners a/b 162 (guitars, vocals) and hex (bass) for later uniting and creating black.noise records in 2006. As a DJ and musical producer dash/- has shared stage with world class artists such as: JUSTICE, The Crystal Method, Mr. FLASH, YUKSEK & BRODINSKY, Tim Sweeny (DFA rec.), Thomas Von Party (Turbo rec.), Diplo, le Castle Vania (lies in disguise), Brian Black (X-lover), Felix Cartal aka Laser, Lady Miss Kier (Dee Lite), Anja Shneider, Adriano Canzian, DJ Glow, among many others. He has also been in the production team (Rockets Bureau) for parties with artist such as: Dj Hell, Capri, Sonido Lasser Drakar, Coco Cielo, Dj Pilas, Larry Tee, Mount Sims, etc.dash/- began producing eletronic music in late 2003 with electro house and elektroklash beats, for later combining it with a more industrial and ebm sounding influence, it was at this point where he consolidated his career as an electronic musician with his first release, "black label ep", presented at a party side by side with Anja Schneider in 2005 (Mexico City) joinning the Rockets Bureau crew as a Dj. In 2006 dash/- began producing minimal techno/elektro sounds, entirely reflected in his "turn off ep", as well as in the records he was spinning in parties at that time. Currently, he has incorporated all his musical influences and experience as a producer in a style of glitchy elektro-rock (influenced by the new french elektro scene), which also reflects in his dj sets as dash/- and his most recent dual live set proyect, with his friend and partner Dann Kalter (Rockets Bureau); always re-inventing, revolutioning and updating the mexican club elektro scene, along the top figures of the electronic movement in Mexico City.
