Yankee Belle

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Yankee Belle is a native of New Jersey and former Nashville, TN country songwriter. She had several songs published and one cut before returning to her homestate in 1994. It was a wild ride with eighteen years of late night writing and demo sessions, playing in songwriters pubs and pounding the pavement of Music Row in hopes of getting her songs heard, published and recorded. The journey was incredible and the rewards were few and far between, but the memories still live on. Lifetime friendships were made during those years and many acquaintances were never heard from again until MySpace. Currently, Y.B. splits her time between her corporate life, family gatherings and keeping in touch with friends all over the world. She continues to write songs, using a Yamaha midi synth. and her trusty 1964 Gibson B-25, Emmylou Harris guitar. She is also a poet and freelance writer, having written several articles for Associated Content. She has completed her first book of poetry, which she hopes to have published and released in 2009. A long time student of metaphysics, former minister of practical theology, and Reiki Master, Yankee Belle credits her spiritual faith as the corner stone for all of her creative endeavors and the lifeline that has helped her survive the tragic death of her son. This site is dedicated to her son Jason, who passed into the spirit realm on June 30, 2006. For more information, please visit his site at: www.injasonsmemory.org.I now have a facebook account too.
