Beginning originally in Feb. 2001 the mission would prove to be an ambitious undertaking to revolutionize the softhearted, week-minded, pop metal that was dominating the popularly supposed hard-core scene. With a back to thrash approach, Sinew has set out to infect humanity with an assault of blistering guitar solos on top of organized chaotic drumming, mixed up with pragmatic lyrics, and layered with thunderously pounding bass lines. As with any subterraneous movement, there have been numerous attempts to derail the progress of such idealism through coupe attempts, and at least one sonic assassination (THE THEFT OF EQUIPTMENT). However, with the tenacity usually reserved for religious zealots, Sinew has stayed true to their metal roots and continues to expand on the horizon of hard-core music.
