About Me

From May, 2004, until January, 2007, Chris Mullins worked as the Resident Musician at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum. He developed a statewide music residency program in which he demonstrates a variety of instruments and music styles at schools around the state. Mullins completed a certification in audio engineering that same year at Long Island Recording Studios in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2006, he was the mandolin instructor at Cowan Creek Mountain Music School and the American Music Consultant for the Music Education Toolkit for Kentucky Educational Television.In February, 2007, Mullins began attending The New Zealand School of Music at The Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand; pursuing a bachelor of music, majoring in composition.
