Two and a Quarter came together around 6 years ago in a big warehouse. Then they started playing music or what you'd call jammin'.The chemistry they put together with their various backgrounds in music became something the boys wanted to get a fix on and so they jammed every time there was a chance to do so.Out of these sessions, which were recorded on a Ghetto Blaster from the 1980s to begin with, came a lot of hours worth of music. The results were put toward compiling some songs which were recorded digitally later on... which would be around now. This particular incarnation of the band has never performed live. Unless you count the pidgeons and other warehouse creatures as an audience. Their stuff goes out the windows into whatever the weather's doing. Sometimes the rain pounds it down into the cement. One of the songs was scraped off the sidewalk after a major downpour. Two And a Quarter's venues will be like the Waldorf Hotel, the Railway Club, Gypsy Dropouts and the corner of Granville and Georgia. But, for now, the band is choosey and works to maintain standards that are not being exhibited during their Jams. They want to polish the performance aspect of being a band and so that could take a while longer. Unless, of course, you the reader spurs them on to show up and play! =)
